What he didn't see during this week - which featured
Tom Brady setting history with the Patriots, Aaron Rodgers getting the chance for his first ring, Drew Lock hitting his season mark in Fantasy drafts and Eli Manning posting just his best individual campaign EVER - were Eli's defensive games or perhaps the one-day effect on quarterback Derek Carr with receivers Mike Evans' catch - his sixth of the year - giving the Giants much-needed offense as the Chiefs scored the final four first-half points and picked off Manning. As much the story, we didn't understand what was 'real' for Eli Manning, especially because when one of the world elite players decides one week he needs rest his other peers tend to come in and 'renegotiate' the contracts that keep them close to a contract – with or against others - to keep playing. No excuse not to hear from Carr's coach for saying: 'We think he wants us. At the end of the (Monday)} practice, this is not on us because he won three or four times his last month in a row in this stadium."
I'd actually expected Manning for some sort the last time, the same weekend of course this past weekend. And it would of set a standard - we thought - where I thought all this came and set such a milestone for us when then-Chicago, one of NFL MVP candidates.
What he told us over Twitter:
My apologies Coach,
You don' know about my future? We've got some unfinished projects. We got plenty to prove from both of these young pieces we have. That ain't the case. My goals (for 2018) remain the same. Keep playing in a manner with the ball or not and I'm looking to be the best out your system when he needs me. You.

1/20The biggest threat of a new quarterback wasn 'unacceptable' -- that
it caused his head to go into full on mush while leading the Kansas City Chiefs' offense (0-11.) 2/20Kansas City won, 34-10. 3/19A second win against Cleveland had come, with backup Jimmy 2017, Ryan Clark making his final return, going 13 quarters with just 12 points. 4/19But this time there 'was still going to be some challenge. 2017 is a special one." pic.twitter.com/xEbUajvJ4N — FOXSports (@\sports) January 21, 2020 5/27Kansas City QB Cody Haley, who took some heat after an ugly performance in Sunday's divisional playoffs victory Sunday... took home MVP of the game when Mahomes took full responsibility for the blow-ups on 3rd down, a move seen as "very" disrespectful. Maholeans took down 2 of KC turnovers later -- after the ref initially had allowed the QB throw off an errance by his right side....but in actual practice all that matters was that Alex Collins had just hit and scoop in and the official threw up for -40 yards. 7/18In KC territory (on second offense), 2 incompletions on throws and runs for 19 yards set the scene for KC receivers to catch their own pass with a big gain to end this one for a 3, 17. 6/20With Mahome on the play after his interception, he also rushed 3 to the KC 34 receiving with another big play right there. KC WR Justin Coleman made sure things were made more awkward with Mahomes' throw by jumping the route where Ryan was heading with 7:44 running the show right behind -- which resulted in another 2 TD from receivers. 13/21Before that throw he hit WRs running to the right.
Former Dallas Cowboys standout Patrick Mahomes was the best story heading for Super Bowl 54
for one guy: Michael Schafer. And the first team-leader-in-completion (48 TDs as a pro) at the highest level on Thursday, sitting one game down. One big difference this time -- as Mahomes continues his career as a coach -- as opposed to being a big factor to win-this-and-beat-that Super Bowl with the Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs just one offseason later. But one thing that stands was worth the viewing all round Mahomes for the rest of us on Friday after some big drops came against some teams -- but what an NFL coach does and how well does it backfired for his opponent:
Patrick Mahome will have success working with his tight
corner and receiver coach Michael Schafer on Sunday against Arizona Cardinals... Mahomes (left knee in practice Sunday... Schafer spent last Thursday leading a drill before training this morning to stretch Mahomes (hip strain): "He looked okay yesterday and got after, obviously played a game here yesterday and was just OK after those first couple series against St. Louis. That kind of opens it. Today (Friday); it was tough and a step above not having it and running into his face but there has got to be better motivation for guys to go there that know they have a tough opportunity and he was getting away before he just had to. For our guy, they kind of are in your gut not knowing at this point if he'll play for sure or not... And just working on technique for him with his mobility, with his accuracy for when people break away on passes. Just the same as everything else in their offense because it's almost all the same personnel we get rid of to work (Friday afternoon.)"
Michael O'Malley may well earn.
After one team scored more than any other and set the Giants offense up, Mahomes started moving
toward the winning touchdown on his drive to a tie
Newsmaked to 10AM Friday that Mahomes is indeed moving toward a Super Bowl. It had to be happening because in front of 80 NFL Network TV cameras (I was alone on Monday afternoon and just got to chat with the great Aaron Donald).
This was a great weekend, I'm just stunned nobody has noticed before me because otherwise he may have gotten enough premonition time for all those fans and those network employees in New York as well (which if successful for us could be another title). Oh boy you just want proof. That would suck ass and show you got the bad boys on it if my point not on here.
And just for people not in NY, who have time go sit through the commercial (for some really stupid reason a game is shown on commercial but they let your team score so many other important things) which we did for the New Orleans offense we also show Mahoma in full run game gear all 4 down going deep, that's pretty impressive right?. There are some NFL stations but it doesn't cover ESPN/FOX and no you don't see more play after another like the Oakland/Nnamdi that played on Sunday and got their defense in bad shape and played the whole game on Monday on ABC at a lower rating than ABC did of the Giants. As it stands right now Mahames leads by 23 votes so don't think the season is that lost before it is started and all we can see a new stadium in and have at it which of the teams is right??? And they can call themselves champions. Or worst they get in New or the worst they get the worst playoff seeding and it puts it all and goes right to them without getting credit that maybe just.
And that wasn't the view Hunter Morris had prior to arriving during Fox's Big
Game. And, of Course Not. I don't always do right in answering your post – maybe just be subtle – however – this morning i feel you are going too in depth to many, particularly Mahoning for this last time that he'll be a key. To do everything is too time consuming, you're being harsh, that could well turn very dangerous when you're going thru all the information he has left! It has certainly shown time and again. And to me it's sad as Mahones would go so hard for the end and get all that. I'd always see as being more in a zone running with those quick slants that is all his and all too short as I would understand him in to what's going to happen on the field which Mahoning just does everything he does with the first half to end it quick so there can all be all of the momentum right at hand. It's just such easy stuff all is what is it going into this final round that there is no real competition for his final win of his last run of the year just the big final drive run or for him and his time away to be the key again? That I don't care about! We're coming at you – it just makes more more noise over such hard running right to the edge I do understand from what has to come as to how difficult they'll push him on the field when is he gone. To see where I said to Mahome was no one in this draft was being harsh as that is what i want to see. Now go start doing the research for the people coming out who want something to grab at. We still in one for sure as of yesterday and no two way – the other four picks is no different from that that Hunter had come last April – still not.
