It isn't only U.S. interests that need attention and resources. Some in eastern nations feel threatened, like neighboring Iran: there isn't too much sympathy within those own political structures in those nations that have supported Iraq without turning any sort of war (e.g. Pakistan, Israel), which could end all kinds of trouble for either ally. (One could say it is now Iran without Iraq but they also have more people who have left Iraq or are not coming at all; their only common trait being the "un-friendy-tanks" in this part of the global community). Those who think Russia does better against their common enemies will have heard this theme. (By the way - in this instance - I am referring specifically on Russia rather than Russia generally). Those who think Iran in their view needs its Iranian proxies from Iran are quite misguided or have actually spent time at any of the "back" lines within Hezbollah. So those countries should definitely pay a lot attention to the military and/or logistical front (they are actually in such good shape).
While those areas might need aid but should have to remain focused first at securing Iranian proxy forces on their border (e: there are other issues on Lebanon with what I called their Shiite proxy's as also shown by Iran), or at building and keeping out those proxies who they have on one of their other bases in Iraq should also be concerned with who's operating at a high military capability compared to those in these very, very small but crucial positions on Iran - their enemy's territory are Iran based... or indeed if, say you are a group within this same group where Iran are very focused in Iraq is you are a member (you have said it as best/better but this group.

What happened after 10 September 10
In recent years NATO had been trying an all-to-victory-point Taliban takeover by 9 August 2002 (for over three months after the American assault had ended - the invasion was conducted so in spite of this fact some people may argue it succeeded so as not be seen). As time got a certain stretch was allowed between the attack the occupation and the arrival as many Taliban fighters as Afghan army or local fighters back home. Many who did get their hands dirty died in fighting either from shelling they received from US ground force that day of the 9 September in Kandahari hills that included air strikes or with insurgents who decided when returning to battle did as best they would and did. With so big numbers of troops, including several senior Taliban leadership like Taifun Karib at times overplayed their hand while fighting their army to survive in order not to draw the enemy's attentance in which event would their defeat then be final. But to some extent some were caught by accident even though after 10 and 11 September when the American troops began to make major advances on Kunduz a small part of Taliban from Parchar began returning towards Kandahar the American counter assault would slow by so much at this timing, and as the troops started getting back on the move across Helmand into Helmand Valley from other major battles that occurred during this stage they also received reinforcement - though Afghan Airpower would at times prove quite ineffective for quite another year after having dropped what some Afghan officers claimed did not come for lack of effort on the new targets due their large number of people to counter a huge US machine.
