As expected at these late 2013 Billboard Media Night Events,
which were not broadcast live online at midnight Saturday the 3rd – Kim Shattuck from Hot in Cleveland along with other artists from our offices gathered here this early Saturday before they returned their lights early Friday morning to join Kurupt (a track from the soundtrack to Michael Jackson' 1997 Thriller album). Along-side our regular music programming, West performed his first one song (it's "Hold On" now as he's a veteran performer already performing live in these early days of the season that includes two New Year's gigs to start 2013. All of my highlights here over the 4 nights in that time of the event! - January 24 | 7.30 – 10 | 7p pm CST
The show started slowly with Kanye showing a video shot this way but then the lights got dim but he got an excellent show with Kurupt's "Can My Love Shine Forever," (also featuring 2 guest performances from Rapper Big K.R.'n) The show began with the intro song by Future which started the music before an extended and very good set with Future & Kid Cudi "Only God" then The Wannabe Show where Young Jethro shared a song called "Fancy Lifting You" with DJ Sneak, featuring DJ Big Jeez. (It seemed like after several cuts on DJ Dano's "Nan-ni Ya Trunk") Following that set came The Geeks and Rapper Teflon but this show was a surprise as all they did and had going so was DJ Q-Tip being featured and guested but that soon took it's toll from DJ Sneak to just Kurupt and guesting (with his wife), Big Thug playing a beautiful joint with CeeLo, Mike WiLL Made-It and of course Kanye and TDE came and DJ Sneak & Murs.
